Session are of different lengths. Your will have been allocated a slot of either 20 or 30 minutes in total including time for questions and changeover.
We have HP EliteBooks (Windows 7) laptops available for presenters in each of the session rooms. This laptop has Internet access, MS Office 2007, and Adobe Reader 9 installed. If you have other, special presentation requirements, please let us know in advance. Please bring your presentation on a USB stick as we will gather talks before each session at the registration desk for installation and testing.
Poster presentations
There will be two plenary poster sessions, authors have been allocated to one to discuss there poster in situ. These long plenaries should allow ample time for discussion of posters. See the GIScience Programme for your session.
Poster boards will be able to accommodate A0 posters in portrait format. Authors might also like to consider bringing A4 versions of posters to distribute to interested conference delegates. GIScience will provide materials for hanging posters.
Posters can be put up on the first day of the conference proper (not the workshops and tutorials day) and left for the whole conference. Any posters left after the end of the conference will be recycled - so don't forget to take them down if you want to keep them!
